NEED A REVIEW TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using the services offered on www.needareview.com (“NeedAReview”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Service Description

NeedAReview is a platform for artists to submit details about their live performance (the “Show”) and, upon payment of a fixed fee, have us source a reviewer to attend the Show and provide a review.

2. Reviewer Matching Guarantee

We guarantee to assign a reviewer to your Show within 48 hours of receiving your completed booking and payment.

 

  • If we are unable to assign a reviewer within that period, we will offer you a full refund, no questions asked.

  • The 48-hour period begins once we have received all required details about your Show and full payment.

3. No Guarantee of Specific Reviewers or Publications

  • We do not guarantee reviews from specific individuals or publications.

  • All our reviewers and publications are appropriately accredited and selected based on relevance, experience, and availability.

  • Requests for specific reviewers, outlets, or times cannot be accommodated.

4. Review Content and Editorial Independence

  • Reviews are independently written and reflect the honest opinion of the assigned reviewer.

  • We have no editorial control over the content, tone, or rating of any review.

  • Refunds will not be provided on the basis that a review is negative or otherwise unfavourable.

  • Reviewers may decline to publish if they feel a show is inappropriate or does not meet editorial standards.

5. Review Timelines

  • Reviews may take several days or longer to appear due to editorial workflows.

  • We do not guarantee publication within a specific timeframe.

6. User Responsibilities

By submitting your Show:

  • You confirm that all details provided are accurate and complete.

  • You agree not to upload any content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.

  • You must ensure the Show is accessible to the reviewer (e.g., tickets, venue information).

  • You are responsible for any performance fees, artist passes, or permissions required.

7. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

We take complaints seriously. If you wish to raise a concern:

 

  • Email info@needareview.com outlining the issue clearly.

  • Your complaint will first be reviewed under our Stage 1 Internal Review Process.

  • If unsatisfied, you may escalate to Stage 2, where the complaint will be reviewed by an independent party.

  • Our decision at Stage 2 is final.

8. Fees and Refunds

  • Fees are clearly stated at the time of booking and are payable in advance.

  • A full refund will only be issued if no reviewer is assigned within 48 hours of booking.

  • No other refunds will be issued, including (but not limited to) disappointment with the review, missed performances due to incorrect details provided, or delays in publication.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • NeedAReview shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or reputational harm arising from the content of a review.

  • We do not accept liability for delays, acts of third parties, or cancellations outside our control.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.

  • Changes will be posted on our website and will not apply retroactively.

11. Acceptance

  • By submitting a booking through NeedAReview, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
